\nSynopsis of Play<\/strong>: God of Carnage was written by Yasmina Reza and was first published in 2008. It <\/span>
\nis about two sets of parents; the son of one couple has hurt the son of the other couple at a public <\/span>
\npark. The parents meet to discuss the matter in a civilized manner. However, as the evening goes <\/span>
\non, the parents become increasingly childish and the meeting devolves into chaos.<\/span>
\nGroup History<\/strong>: Harvest Moon Theatre Group is a new group based in Claremorris, Co Mayo, <\/span>
\nwith members drawn from all over Connaught. All of the group members have experience of the <\/span>
\nAll-Ireland circuit with other groups. This is the group\u2019s first entry in the Confined Section of the <\/span>
\ncircuit.<\/span>

Synopsis of Play<\/strong>: Oleanna is a 1992 two-character play by David Mamet, about the power <\/span>
\nstruggle between a university professor and one of his female students, who accuses him of sexual <\/span>
\nharassment and, by doing so, spoils his chances of being accorded tenure. The play\u2019s title, taken <\/span>
\nfrom a folk song, refers to a 19th-century escapist vision of utopia.[1] Mamet adapted his play into <\/span>
\na 1994 film.\u00a0\u00a0 <\/span>
\nGroup History<\/strong>: From humble beginnings, this small village in Co. Kildare, has developed a strong <\/span>
\ntradition of theatre, it all started with a bilingual play An tAthru Mor, produced by Fr J. O\u2019Brien, <\/span>
\nover 100 years ago, to the present day where the group has won the RTE All Ireland Drama Finals <\/span>
\nback to back. 2018 was an outstanding year for the group, their production of Sylvia took 1st place <\/span>
\nat the RTE All Ireland Drama Festival and the group also secured the Abbey Theatre Award which <\/span>
\ntook them to 5 sold out shows in the Peacock theatre.<\/span>

Synopsis of Play<\/strong>: For one week each autumn, Mick Dowd is hired to disinter the bones in certain <\/span>
\nsections of his local cemetery, to make way for the new arrivals. As the time approaches for him to <\/span>
\ndig up those of his own late wife, strange rumours regarding his involvement in her sudden death <\/span>
\nseven years ago, gradually begin to resurface<\/span>
\nGroup History<\/strong>: Following our win on the 2019 Confined Festival Circuit, this is the group\u2019s first <\/span>
\nouting on the Open Festival Circuit and we are really looking forward to it!!<\/span>
\nFrom our home on the banks of the River Suir in the beautiful village of Holycross the group stage <\/span>
\nperformances every winter and participate in the All Ireland Festival Circuit every spring. We have <\/span>
\nbeen together for over fifty years and we still enjoying treading the boards together and performing <\/span>

\nstrange: His trusted watch goes missing, reappears, and is lost again. His daughter\u2019s stories don\u2019t <\/span>
\nquite add up. His furniture is disappearing and there are strangers at his table. The Father is a <\/span>
\nthrilling exploration of who we are to ourselves when our signposts disappear.<\/span>
\nGroup History<\/strong>: Brideview Drama was formed in the late 1980s and began competing in the early <\/span>
\n90s, winning the confined 3Act in 2005 with Moonshine. By Jim Nolan.<\/span>
\nThey qualified for the Open All-Ireland Finals for the first time in 2018 with \u2018Stolen Child\u2019, finishing <\/span>
\nin second place. They reached the finals again in 2019 with \u2018Philadelphia, Here I Come\u2019 finishing in <\/span>

\nSynopsis of Play<\/strong>: The play is seton the island of Inishmaan in 1934. Billy Claven lives with his <\/span>
\nadoptive aunties. He\u2019s crippled from birth and endures ridicucle because of his physical deformaties. <\/span>
\nHe longs to get off the island and experience the wider world. He is also secretly in love with the <\/span>
\nisland\u2019s beauty. His opportunity comes when \u201cMan of Aran\u201d is being filmed on the neighbouring <\/span>
\nisland of Innishmor.<\/span>
\nGroup History<\/strong>: Rearcross has a long tradition in Amateu Dramatics stretching back to the 1940. <\/span>
\nThe Group was active on the festival circuit in the 1960\u2019s and 1970\u2019s. for a number of years the <\/span>
\ngroup was not active but was revived in 2008 and annual productions have been successfully staged <\/span>
\nevery year since. The group is looking forward to participating again in<\/span>
\nThe Co. Tipperary Drama Festival.<\/span><\/div>\n

\nSynopsis of Play<\/strong>: The play revolves around a young man\u2019s bravado claims that he killed his father. For more <\/span>
\nthan a century audiences have puzzled over how this claim makes him a hero to all the eligible <\/span>
\nyoung women who vie for his affections. Patrons also wondered\u2026even as the play\u2019s slapstick <\/span>
\nhumour had them falling off their seats.<\/span>
\nGroup History<\/strong>: Hinterland are a new collective of theatre makers who are based in and <\/span>
\naround County Tipperary. This not for profit, community theatre project, is led by Robert Power, <\/span>
\nwho is originally from Carrick-On-Suir and has worked in various mediums in the arts world, <\/span>
\nincluding theatre and music. It is made up of a blend of experience and youth, both in terms of <\/span>
\ncast and production team. In the summer of 2022, the group toured their first production of The <\/span>
\nPlayboy of the Western World by John Millington Synge. <\/span><\/div>\n

\nSynopsis of Play<\/strong>: It\u2019s Christmas Eve, and Sharky has returned to Dublin to look after Richard, <\/span>
\nhis irascible and ageing brother, who has recently gone blind. Sharky, an alcoholic, is battling to <\/span>
\nget through Christmas without a drink. Richard\u2019s drinking buddy Ivan is holed up at the house <\/span>
\ntoo. They are joined for a game of poker by Sharky\u2019s old love rival, Nicki, who brings along the <\/span>
\nmysterious Mr Lockhart. In their alcohol induced world they drink, they fight and they gamble. <\/span>
\nBut, with the arrival of this stranger from the distant past, the stakes are raised even higher, as <\/span>
\nSharky may be playing for his very soul.<\/span>
\nGroup History<\/strong>: Thurles Drama Group presents two three-act plays yearly in the Source Arts <\/span>
\nCentre. Over a period of fifty-six years they have produced plays of every genre, and always of the <\/span>
\nhighest quality. The group has recently bought an old cinema\/parish hall which has been<\/span>
\nrefurbished into their own drama hall. They are looking forward to the official opening of The Br\u00edd <\/span>
\nRyan Drama Centre in 2023. The group has been competing on the three-act festival circuit over a <\/span>
\nnumber of years, and have reached the All-Ireland Finals in Athlone on eight occasions.<\/span><\/div>\n

Synopsis of Play<\/strong>: This smash comedy hit of the London and Broadway stage offers up fussy, <\/span>
\ncantankerous novelist Charles Condomine, remarried but haunted (literally) by the ghost of his <\/span>
\nlate first wife, the clever and insistent Elvira, who is called up by a visiting \u201chappy medium\u201d, one <\/span>
\nMadame Arcati. As the (worldly and un-worldy) personalities clash, Charles\u2019 current wife Ruth is <\/span>
\naccidentally killed, \u201cpasses over\u201d, joins Elvira and the two \u201cblithe spirits\u201d haunt the hapless Charles <\/span>
\ninto perpetuity.<\/span>
\nGroup History<\/strong>: Kilmeen Drama Group, based in Rossmore, West Cork, are one of the longest <\/span>
\nestablished drama groups in the country. The group competes in both the One Act and Three Act <\/span>
\ncircuits each year as well as running a Summer Theatre programme in the months of July and <\/span>
